ETHOS’ Response – The Career Management Connection:

The Career Management Connection project is asking top employers, what they’re doing to address these issues, and how effective their tactics have been.  Our research will identify the most effective strategies for addressing: 1. Skills Shortages, 2. Workforce Retention, 3. Employee Engagement, and 4. Succession Planning.

The Career Management Connection – Project Outcomes:

Our research findings will guide development of an Organizational Career Management Model designed to engage employees in their work and career development, for the purpose of increasing overall productivity.  The model will:

  • Outline important people management practices from the hiring stage through the various stages of workforce development
  • Provide practical information for how to address all four of the project’s key issues
  • Be designed for adoption by a variety of business and organization types
